Basically the idea is to show both sides of the same (images) as projections and as traces of light in space. This automatically created a kind of 3D spectacle but without large additions of high tech but more ingenuity. Freely inspired by film and installation works of Anthony McCall.

Compilation of the be(a)st moments of the Spring tour with those two guys mentioned above. Tour started in Kansai, Osaka Area followed then by a spring in China 8Hong Kong and Mainland China) with a few diferent dates and some exclusive colaborations (a unique colaboration with action painter and butoh dancer Ikko Taniuchi, whole recording in a previous post). 23N! played alternatively two sets one with an analog tv called Tv Bug ( with a synth of its own conception with light sensors and some kind of feedback), Nikola played his regular set with feedback processing and I played most often with video feedback and video glitching. Two weeks of noise, dragging luggage every day, the eternal question of whom plays first and a lot of very nice people (Thanks to everyone and especially to 23N! and Niko to taking me with them).
Part 1: Kansai (JP)->Hong Kong.
Part 2: Mainland China (to come) Thanks to 23N! for this tedious work of compilation….

Featuring new media artists from Switzerland and Japan, “Medium” is a cutting edge multi-media performance interlinking sight, sound and senses. With the use of unorthodox sound generating techniques, old-fashion television, and alcohol as the mediums, this is an interactive performance that goes beyond sight and sound.

Performance made in Cinema Oblo on March 5th 2011 for the Cinema (re)trouve event presenting found porn movies. Voice is a speech given y Andrea Dworkin at Duke University in1986. Other noises are modular synthetizers played live by Ricardo da Silva. The idea to mix porn film projections and heavy noisified technical dispositive was given by some quotation of Donna Haraway’s Cybermaifesto:
“Communications technologies depend on electronics. Modern states, multinational corporations, military power, welfare state apparatuses, satellite systems, political processes, fabrication of our imaginations, labour-control systems, medical construc-tions of our bodies, commercial pornography, the international division of labour, and religious evangelism depend intimately upon electronics. Micro-electronics is the technical basis of simulacra; that is, of copies without originals.”
